How All Canadian Pricing Works
Here's how our pricing works and what makes your price go up or down. The honest model: rental and disposal are separate, and we quote by your address and your job — so the number you get is a real one.
Why We Quote by Your Job
Every project is a little different, so a single sticker price would be wrong for half the people who call. Instead, three simple rules keep it fair and clear.
Rental and disposal are separate
You pay to rent the bin, and you pay to dispose of what's in it. Disposal is charged by weight — so what you put in the bin is the biggest variable in your final total.
We quote by your address
Your town and how far we travel set the starting price. Bins start at $250 in Parksville and Qualicum Beach and $275 in Nanoose Bay and Nanaimo.
No hidden fees
What you see is what you pay. Any surcharge — an extra day, a mattress, missing drywall paperwork — is explained before it lands on your invoice.
What Drives Your Bin Price
A bin quote comes down to where you are, how long you keep it, and — most of all — the weight of what goes inside.
Your town & distance
From $250 in Parksville & Qualicum Beach, $275 in Nanoose Bay & Nanaimo.
Farther from our Parksville base means more travel — outside our core area is quoted individually.
Bin size
Size up for free.
15, 18, or 20-yard rent for the same base rate in a given town. Most people take the bigger bin.
The weight of what's inside
Disposal is charged by weight — separate from the rental.
Clean fill, shingles, and mixed reno waste all weigh out differently. The material moves the price most.
How many days you keep it
Your quote includes a multi-day window.
Keep it longer and a small daily rate applies. We confirm the details when we book you.
Surcharge items
Mattresses, fridges, toilets & bulky items add a per-item fee.
Tell us what is going in and we will flag anything that adds a charge up front.
Drywall documentation
Drywall needs an asbestos clearance document.
Missing paperwork = a $250 minimum rejection fee. Our free drywall guide shows what you need.
How the deposit works
We take a deposit up front — the bin rental plus about one tonne of disposal — then settle the balance after the bin is weighed at the facility. You only pay for the disposal you actually use, and there's no round number pulled from thin air. Call 778-909-9874 for your exact quote.
What Drives Your Excavation Price
Digging is priced by the machine, the access, and the time on site — plus a locate and disposal where the job calls for it.
Site access
Tight, gated, or sloped access changes the machine and the time.
The Bobcat E10 fits a standard 36-inch gate; open lots use a larger machine.
Which machine
We match the machine to the job.
A compact E10 and a mid-size excavator carry different rates — no paying for more iron than you need.
Hours on site
Priced by scope and time on site.
A half-day trench is a very different job from a full landscape overhaul.
Whether a locate is needed
We find what is underground first.
Locating with GPR and radio detection to BC One Call standards can add a step.
Disposal
Hauling spoil, brush, or concrete is billed separately.
Charged by weight — the same way bin disposal works.
What most small jobs run
Small residential jobs — trenching, footings, small demo — typically land under $2,000. Anything larger gets a quick site visit so the quote is real, not a guess. Call 778-909-9874 and we'll talk through your project.
What Drives Your Rental Price
Prefer to run the machine yourself? Rentals are day-rate simple, with delivery quoted by area.
The machine & the day rate
Bobcat E10 — $250/day, no weekly minimum.
Pay for the days you need. Larger machines carry their own day and week rates.
Delivery & pickup
Delivery by area — $50 Parksville, $75 Qualicum or Nanoose.
Outside those areas, call for a quote.
How long you keep it
Extend daily rentals as long as the project needs.
Any added cost is disclosed before you confirm — no surprise fees.

Bin Rental vs. the Transfer Station
Many people assume hauling it themselves is cheaper. Once you add up every cost, a bin often comes out ahead.
| Cost factor | Rent a bin from All Canadian | DIY at the transfer station |
|---|---|---|
| Trips | One drop-off, one pickup — we do the driving | Multiple trips for a larger project |
| Vehicle | None needed | A truck or trailer to rent or borrow |
| Disposal fees | Charged once by weight, on your invoice | Weight-based tipping fees every visit |
| Fuel | Included in your rate | Out of pocket, every trip |
| Schedule | Load at your own pace over several days | Only during posted hours |
| Drywall | We tell you the paperwork up front | Load rejected if docs are missing ($250 min) |
| Your time & labour | Spent on the project, not the dump | Loading, hauling, and unloading — all you |
Once you add up disposal fees, truck or trailer rental, fuel, and repeat trips, a bin starting at $250 often comes out ahead.
Straight Answers on Cost
Bins start at $250 in Parksville and Qualicum Beach, and $275 in Nanoose Bay and Nanaimo. That's the rental — drop-off, your rental window, and pickup. Disposal is separate and charged by weight. Call 778-909-9874 for an exact quote for your address.
Because the honest number depends on your address, the bin size, how long you keep it, and the weight and type of what you throw in. We quote by your job so there are no surprises — instead of one sticker price that's wrong for half the people who call.
Distance from our Parksville base, a longer rental, and heavier or mixed loads — since disposal is charged by weight. Surcharge items like mattresses and fridges add a per-item fee, and drywall without an asbestos clearance document can trigger a rejection fee.
For most projects, yes. Once you add up tipping fees, a truck or trailer, fuel, and multiple trips, a bin starting at $250 often wins — and you skip the loading, hauling, and unloading yourself.
For bin rentals, drop-off and pickup are included in the starting price within our core service area. For equipment rentals, delivery is quoted by area — $50 in Parksville and $75 in Qualicum Beach or Nanoose Bay. Farther out, just call and we'll price it.
We take a deposit up front — the rental plus about one tonne of disposal — then settle the balance after the bin is weighed at the facility. You only pay for the disposal you actually use.
